I have always followed the European Truck Racing Championship, and Norbert Kiss's career in particular. After Norbert won his second European title in 2015, he moved to a foreign team and for four years he did not race in Hungarian colours. That is when I dreamt a bold dream! I wanted to build a 100% Hungarian team.
We had a driver, a team and a truck, and little by little everything came together so that in 2020 Norbert Kiss could line up in the European Truck Racing Championship with a Hungarian team behind him.
Because of the pandemic the 2020 racing season was cut short. Only half of the races were held, but it was already clear that we had set off in a very good direction. It was an encouraging start, because even as a brand-new team we were at the top of the standings in 2020.
In 2021 the championship ran an almost complete season, in which Norbert Kiss won his third European title and was also voted Drivers' Driver by his rivals. Révész Racing won its first Teams' European title, and together that was a source of enormous pride for me!
This was crowned by the 2022 championship, in which Norbert Kiss took his fourth European title by a huge margin and the team won their second Teams' European title. The tireless professional work also paid off: based on the votes of the competing clubs, the Révész Racing crew received the Mechanic Crew of the Year award, a great recognition! They proved that they know no impossible: at the end of the first day of the Hungaroring weekend nobody believed they could start the next day. It was perhaps one of the biggest crashes in the history of the championship, after which the team worked day and night beyond their limits. The next day Norbert not only made it to the grid, but won both races!
In the Révész Group our everyday work is characterised by maximum performance, expertise and almost unbelievable willpower, and the same is true of the team. Révész Racing is a Hungarian team we are very proud of, and one that the whole country can be proud of, because Norbert and the team did everything so that the Hungarian anthem would ring out as many times as possible on racetracks all over Europe.
