The season finale took place at the Circuito de Madrid Jarama as part of the 39th Grand Prix de España FIA Europeo de Camiones. The title had already been decided at Le Mans, but Révész Racing arrived intent on maximum points.

On Saturday Norbert won Race 1 from his 13th pole position of the season, win number 19, ahead of Jochen Hahn and Sascha Lenz. The reverse grid in Race 2 left him further back and he finished sixth, as Bradley Smith took his maiden outright victory.

It was a good victory, we had good pace. The start was a bit strange because the green came really late and I barely see the lights anymore because I was so close to the lights, almost underneath. But, okay, we came through, good first turn and start to build the gap a bit. A good race, we were fast, so again, a good job from the team, Révész Racing. The truck was working very nice. We were confident, we had the pace and I pushed a little bit in the first two laps. I see Jochen cannot keep up so it was nice.

On Sunday he took pole position number 14 and his 20th win of the season in Race 3, ahead of Jochen Hahn and Antonio Albacete. Steffi Halm won Race 4, with Norbert finishing seventh.

Good start is always the key, confident braking to Turn 1, then I could go in front, and again a good job from the team, Révész Racing. Even though we already won the championship in Le Mans we arrived very well prepared to Jarama so we could do the maximum as well here. Pole position, the race victory, the pace was good, the tyres were working very well to the end. We're very happy.

The final standings

Norbert won the European championship with 383 points. Jochen Hahn took second ahead of Sascha Lenz: both finished on 244 points and the countback rule went in Hahn's favour. That makes the winning margin 139 points over the runner-up.

John Newell is the Chrome champion, and Lukas Hahn won the weekend's Wingfoot Award (ahead of Norbert and Bradley Smith). The championship returns in 2027.

All results are subject to final confirmation by the FIA.
