Round three took the championship to Germany's Nürburgring, the shortest track on the calendar at 3.629 km, as part of the headline billing at the Int. Shell ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix. Tens of thousands of fans watched four action-packed races in glorious sunshine.

On Saturday Norbert won Race 1 by a comfortable margin. In Race 2 he started eighth. The home crowd celebrated René Reinert's first Nürburgring win after fifty attempts, with José Eduardo Rodrigues and Steffi Halm completing the podium. Norbert came within 0.125 seconds of third place and finished fourth.

It's never easy, but it was good, we could be confident. It was a good start and a good first couple of turns, then I started to build a bit of a gap. The truck was good, so a very good job from Révész Racing. With the set-up the balance was really nice, it was very enjoyable to drive and very good points.

— Norbert Kiss, Race 1

On Sunday he won Race 3 from pole position ahead of Jochen Hahn and Antonio Albacete. Race 4 was the highlight of the weekend: Norbert went from eighth to first on the opening lap. There was a crash ahead, everybody lost momentum, but he stayed on the inside and was second after Turn 2. Mark Taylor locked up at Turn 5, and by Turn 6 Norbert was in the lead.

Race 4 was quite lucky for sure, they had some crash in front of us. Everybody lost the momentum or went the wrong way. I kept to the inside and after Turn 2 I was already up to P2. Then Mark locked up his brakes in Turn 5 and by Turn 6 I was P1. It never goes like this in the reverse-grid race, but it was made easy for me. A very nice job from Révész Racing, the truck works very well and the balance is really nice, so a big thank you to the team.

— Norbert Kiss, Sunday

Heading into the summer break Norbert leads with 163 points, with Albacete and Lenz level on 101. The gap is 62 points.
